AML & KYC Policy
Last updated: 6 October 2026
Klirio works only with legal businesses. This document outlines the principles we follow to prevent the use of our services for money laundering, fraud and other unlawful activity.
1. Merchant verification
Before connection, every project goes through verification. Depending on the project, we may request:
- company registration documents;
- information about directors and beneficial owners;
- bank account details;
- licences or permits, where the activity requires them;
- a description of the business model, products and sales channels.
2. Website review
We check that the website or app is live, matches the declared business, and contains the information customers need: a description of products or services, prices, contact details, and the terms of delivery, refunds and data processing.
3. Prohibited activities
We do not connect projects engaged in:
- gambling, betting and lotteries;
- forex, binary options and investment schemes;
- adult content and services;
- unlicensed financial services;
- the sale of weapons, drugs, or medicines without a licence;
- counterfeit goods and intellectual property violations;
- pyramid schemes and misleading offers;
- any activity prohibited by applicable law.
4. Ongoing monitoring
After launch, transactions are monitored for unusual activity. If something needs clarification, we may request additional information or documents from the merchant.
5. Refusal and suspension
We may refuse to connect a project, or suspend processing, if the required information is not provided, if the actual activity does not match the declared one, or if there are signs of unlawful activity.
6. Contact
Questions about verification can be sent using the details on the About page.
